Who We Are

 ˈˌhärt ˌtə ˈhärt/

adjective : 1. (of a conversation) candid, intimate, and personal.

Our mission is to speak the Truth of the Word of God to young adults who are seeking to find answers to life's deepest mysteries. We believe the best way to present this information is through candid and intimate conversation; making the topics feel personal and easily relatable. So take a seat, grab some coffee, and let's chat.

// James 1:18 (TPT) "God was delighted to give us birth by the truth of his infallible Word so that we would fulfill his chosen destiny for us and become the favorite ones out of all his creation!"

Counter Culture

noun : 1. a way of life and set of attitudes opposed to or at variance with the prevailing social norm.

In the fast-paced and ever-shifting society that we live in, it can be hard to find solid ground on which to base truth. Young people, whether conscious of it or not, are deeply hungry for purpose, authenticity, and community; a place to anchor their feet in the midst of life's uncertainty. But society's desperate attempts at presenting "truth" are fluid and fickle - leaving humanity misled and frustrated. So where can we find truth is real and solid

Answer: The Bible - the living Word of God.

//  John 14:6 (NIV) "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life."

We understand that a key element of healthy conversation is face-to-face interaction. This is why we find it so important to provide opportunities to come together with others to talk about the topics we present in our videos and podcast.

We welcome you to join Dr. Don Allen and our other knowledgable leaders as we sit down together to discuss the tough questions about life and scripture in a comfortable, encouraging environment. Come be a part of the conversation. We look forward to hearing your heart.

The Holy Bible

We believe that the Holy Bible is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible, and inerrant.

// 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26

The Church

We believe that the church is the Body of Christ. Every person who is born of the Spirit is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers. There is spiritual unity of all believers in Jesus Christ.

// Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22; John 17:11, 20-23

THe Cross

We believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; his death on the cross, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or any human efforts.

// Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
— Ephesians 6:14-15
